Bringing Community-Based Stewardship (CBS) to the Gulf

August 14, 2018

This conference is not an L2SG requirement. It is an invitational event for those who wish to move beyond the NOAA B-WET grant to author the next chapter of our story. The event is being co-sponsored by Plum Island Ecosystems Long-Term Ecological Research Network (PIE-LTER).  PIE-LTER is a National Science Foundation program applying long-term observation, experiments, and modeling to understand how ecological systems function over decades.

This is a working conference designed for those L2SG Canadian and US teachers and administrators who have been active participants and are eager to move us to a higher level of involvement in the bioregion. The initiative currently has the financial support from TD Bank, Towards Sustainability Foundation and the Davis Conservation Trust.
