Careful to decompose

A rich enough

Between bottom line

Ardent prose

A natural, she told me

Define it, I hold free

We bleed quite deeply

And Yet oh so neatly

Do we fall like leaves of

Patterned wall.

During Winter Term 2019-2020, students in Keeping it Green partnered with Ranger William Morton and Ranger Clara St. Germain of Lowell National Historic Parks to learn about the urban ecology of Lowell, MA once a week. Students were asked to respond to the question "Where does nature fit in your life?" as a final assignment for LNHP.

Bruce Thach is a 15 year old student at Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School and lives in Lowell, MA.
